Terms & Conditions

By booking a ticket with Chicago Pope Tours LLC (“Chicago Pope Tours LLC,” “the Company”), you (“you” or “the Guest”) agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings must be made through the official website or authorized channels.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • Pricing is subject to change and may vary depending on tour date and availability.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Guests may reschedule their tour up to 72 hours in advance of the scheduled start time
  • No refunds or rescheduling are available for cancellations made within 72 hours of the tour or for no-shows.
  • All rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to admin@chicagopopetour.com.

3. Tour Operations

  • Tours are approximately 2.5 hours in duration and depart promptly at the scheduled time.
  • Guests must arrive at the designated meeting location at least 15 minutes early. Late arrivals may result in forfeiture of your reservation without refund.
  • Tours operate in most weather conditions. Chicago Pope Tours LLC reserves the right to adjust routes, itineraries, or scheduled stops for safety or operational reasons.

4. Guest Conduct & Safety

  • All guests are expected to behave respectfully and comply with all instructions provided by tour staff and guides.
  • Chicago Pope Tours LLC reserves the right to remove any guest from the tour, without refund, for behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour. Chicago Pope Tours LLC is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

5. Accessibility

  • Chicago Pope Tours LLC strives to accommodate all guests. Please contact us prior to booking if you have accessibility needs so that appropriate arrangements can be considered.
  • Due to the nature of some stops, not all locations may be fully accessible.

6. Liability Waiver

By purchasing a ticket and participating in a tour, you acknowledge and voluntarily agree to the following:

You understand that participation in any Chicago Pope Tours LLC event involves certain inherent risks and potential hazards, including but not limited to: transportation accidents, slips, trips, falls, exposure to inclement weather, interactions with third parties, unpredictable urban conditions, food or environmental allergens, and general risks associated with walking or riding in public spaces.

You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks of illness, injury, property damage, or loss - whether foreseeable or unforeseeable - arising from your participation in the tour or related activities, regardless of whether such risks are caused by your actions or the actions or negligence of others.

You, on behalf of yourself and your heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Chicago Pope Tours LLC, its owners, employees, officers, contractors, affiliates, volunteers, agents, and successors from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses.

7. Recording & Distribution

  • Guests may take personal photos and short videos during the tour for private use.
  • Recording or distributing any portion of the tour guide’s commentary, script, or experience for commercial or public use is strictly prohibited without express written consent from Chicago Pope Tours LLC.
  • Violations may result in removal from the tour without refund and could result in legal action.

8. Photography & Media Use

  • Chicago Pope Tours LLC may take photos or videos during the tour for promotional or archival purposes.
  • By participating, you consent to the use of your image or likeness unless you notify the tour staff in advance.

9. Privacy Policy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how data is collected, stored, and used by Chicago Pope Tours LLC.

10. Amendments to Terms

Chicago Pope Tours LLC reserves the right to update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services or participation in tours following such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
