About 3 hours, slightly more or less depending on traffic and if lunch is part of the tour. It’s a relaxed ride with frequent stops for photos, stories, and a stretch or two.
-
While the agenda varies based on traffic and pickup location, you’ll visit key places from Pope Leo’s early life in Chicago, such as:
His birthplace
His childhood home
His childhood church
The seminary where he studied
We’ll ride in style, hop off for stories, and uncover how a Chicago kid became a global spiritual leader.
-
While the topic is inherently religious, the tour is historical, cultural, and fun. We visit churches and spiritual spaces, sure, but this tour is more about Pope Leo’s life and Chicago’s rich personality than preaching.
-
There is no walking component of the tour, though it is a requirement to be able to board a bus
-
The stories are designed to be interesting, funny, and memorable for all ages.
-
The bus is covered and climate-controlled. But in cases of severe weather, tours may be postponed.
-
As part of a private tour, we can add a restroom break at a stop.
